Greensboro College Volleyball Has Four Named to USA South All-Conference Teams
Greensboro, NC (11/16/2024) — The Greensboro College volleyball team earned recognition on the USA South All-Conference Team on Wednesday, as Taylor Cotie, Kelci Brooks, and Morgan Mayfield were named to the second team all-conference, while Grace Young was named to the all-sportsmanship team.
Cotie, a middle blocker from Greensboro, had 201 kills this season to go along with 60 blocks. She tied a career high with 7 blocks against Meredith on November 9th.
Brooks had a career high 292 kills this season, which led the team. She had 29 service aces, 20 assists, and 28 blocks.
Mayfield was named the USA South Libero of the Year, as she had 679 digs and 6.23 digs/set. She ranked in the top 10 in NCAA Division III in both categories.
Young, who was named to the all-sportsmanship team, transferred from UNC-Asheville for the 2024 season and had 298 digs to help anchor the Pride defense along with Mayfield.
