Elaine Kitchell Inducted into Sociology Honor Society at Greensboro College

Elaine Kitchell has been inducted into Greensboro College's chapter of Alpha Kappa Delta, the national honor society in sociology.

Kitchell is a senior sociology major from Greensboro, N.C.

Alpha Kappa Delta was founded in 1920 at the University of Southern California and now has more than 650 chapters. It is affiliated with the American Sociological Society. Greensboro College's Omicron chapter was established in 1991.

Inductees must be a declared sociology major or have a demonstrated interest in sociology; be at least a junior; rank in the top 35% of their academic class; and have completed at least four sociology classes at the institution with a grade-point average in those courses of 3.0 or better.
