2014 Apr 14

Kyle Gatti, a sophomore accounting from Whispering Pines, N.C., was one of a team of four members that won Greensboro College an honorable mention in an annual recipe contest conducted by a Greensboro-based restaurant chain.

Biscuitville's third annual "Brand Your Biscuit" contest drew entries from 39 teams representing six of the seven colleges and universities in the city. Greensboro College teams took first place both of the first two years.

The "Brand Your Biscuit" contest is part of Biscuitville's Greensboro Collegiate Biscuitville Week, which celebrates Greensboro's thriving entrepreneurial and collegiate community and the city's 50,000 college students.

The events were created by a collaboration between Biscuitville and the economic-development and networking nonprofits Opportunity Greensboro, Action Greensboro and synerG Young Professionals.
