2014 Jan 15

The 2013 edition of The Lyre, Greensboro College's annual student-produced literary magazine, received first place again this year from the American Scholastic Press Association among colleges its size.

The first-place award, in the category of colleges and universities with between 1,001 and 1,700 students, is the second consecutive top prize for The Lyre from the association. Its 2011 edition placed second nationally.

The edition's editorial board included Melissa Rodriguez, a senior English and Communication Studies major from High Point, NC.
