Michaela Ray Richards Chosen as Greensboro College 2014-15 Student Marshal

Michaela Ray Richards is among 16 Greensboro College juniors to be appointed student marshals for the 2014-15 academic year.

Richards is a theatre education major and dance minor from Narragansett, RI.

These students assist at academic convocations, the 2014 Baccalaureate/Cap & Gown Ceremony and Commencement, and other official college functions between now and April 2015. They comprise the 16 members of this year's junior class with the highest grade-point average.

Greensboro College, an independent, coeducational college affiliated with the United Methodist Church, is an academic and social community that unites the liberal arts and Judeo-Christian values in an atmosphere of diversity and mutual respect.

Founded in 1838 and located in downtown Greensboro, the college enrolls about 1,100 students from 32 states, the District of Columbia and 24 nations in its undergraduate liberal-arts program and four master's degree programs.
