Shaun Watt Earns NCSAA All-American Honors

2015 Dec 7

Greensboro College men's soccer player Shaun Watt of Montreal was named Second-Team All-American, the National Soccer Coaches of Association of America announced Friday.

Watt, a junior forward from Montreal, Quebec, becomes the ninth Pride men's soccer player to earn All-American honors and the first since 2002. On Thursday, Watt earned First Team All-South Atlantic Region recognition.

"We are extremely excited for Shaun," Head Coach Tony Falvino said. "He fully deserves this honor, and we are extremely proud of what he was able to achieve with the help of his team."

During this past season, Watt led the USA South Athletic Conference in goals, earning First Team All-Conference and Player of the Year honors. He also ranks second in Division III in total goals with 23 while sitting atop the goals-per-game category.
