Catherine Billingsley and Carl Billingsley to host Joint Exhibit at Greensboro College

Greensboro, NC (01/20/2023) — The Greensboro College Department of Art presents a joint exhibit of Weaving and Sculpture by Catherine Billingsley and Carl Billingsley; the exhibition will run from January 25-March 31, 2023 in the Anne Rudd Galyon Gallery in the Cowan Humanities Building on campus.

An Opening Reception for the exhibit will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023, from 5-7 p.m. in the gallery.

Catherine's exhibit is titled, "A Woven Diary of the Coronavirus Pandemic: 2020-2022." Carl's exhibit is titled, "Marking Time."

The Gaylon Gallery is open, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Greensboro College's Department of Art offers the B.A. or B.S. in Art and the B.A. in Art Education, as well as the B.F.A. in painting or sculpture. The program, with individual attention to students, combines classic art principles with the liberal-arts foundations of diverse branches of inquiry, including both science and the humanities, so that students can incorporate as much of the world as possible into their own art-making.
