Greensboro College Art Department to Host Group Art Exhibition
Greensboro, NC (01/08/2024) — The Greensboro College Department of Art will be hosting a collaborative art exhibition, titled, "Low," in its Anne Rudd Galyon and Irene Cullis Galleries in the Cowan Humanities Building on campus.
The exhibition is opening January 12 and will end on February 9, 2024. A reception for the artists will be held in the galleries on January 25 from 6-8 p.m., where guests can meet with several of the artists to discuss their work.
The exhibition will feature pieces from the collective artists: Thomas Lampion, Melanie St. Claire, Alice Holleman, Bailey Powell, Patti Hazlett, and Ryan Oakley.

Greensboro College's Department of Art offers the B.A. or B.S. in Art and the B.A. in Art Education, as well as the B.F.A. in painting or sculpture. The program, with individual attention to students, combines classic art principles with the liberal arts foundations of diverse branches of inquiry, including both science and the humanities, so that students can incorporate as much of the world as possible into their own artmaking.
