Greensboro College Football 2024 Schedule Released
Greensboro, NC (05/21/2024) — The 2024 Greensboro College Football season is right around the corner and the full 2024 schedule is out. The Pride will look to build off their strong finish to 2023, where they defeated Southern Virginia and Methodist in the final two games of the season.
This year, the team begins the season on September 7th at Pride Field as they host the Soup Bowl against Guilford College. They also host Averett the next week on September 14th.
The Pride begin conference play against Methodist on the road September 21st. Greensboro has six home games this year, including conference games against Southern Virginia, Belhaven, NC Wesleyan, and Maryville.
The team returns multiple starters on the defensive side of the ball, including USA South Defensive Rookie of the Year, Larry Jones. A key position battle to look out for is the quarterback position, as the team's starting quarterback from a season ago, Alec Williams-Carr, graduated after 2023.
