Greensboro College Men's Soccer Takes Down Guilford 3-0
Greensboro, NC (09/06/2026) — Greensboro College men's soccer (2-0) defeated Guilford College (0-2) 3-0 on Saturday. Greensboro outshot Guilford College 16-3, including 8-0 in shots on goal, while recording the shutout. The game was ended with 11 minutes remaining due to weather.
Gustav Ohman scored an unassisted goal on his only shot and was credited with the game-winning goal. Jade Diane added a goal while putting two of his three shots on frame. Jamie Davis scored and placed both of his shots on goal. Alvaro Arroyo logged 79 minutes in goal and was credited with the shutout and win.
Ohman put Greensboro College in front 1-0 at 10:30, after the Pride had earned two early corner kicks. Davis added a goal at 22:20, and Greensboro took a 2-0 lead into halftime.
Diane scored in the 54th minute off Axel Garcia's assist, pushing the Greensboro lead to 3-0 in the second half. Greensboro kept the pressure on with six shots from 57:08 to 66:19 and a corner kick at 66:26. Greensboro withstood four Guilford's corners after 70:35 and closed out the 3-0 win.
