Greensboro College Names 14 Juniors Class Marshals for 2021-2022

Greensboro, NC (04/28/2021) — Greensboro College has named 14 members of the Class of 2022 student marshals for 2021-2022. They are:

Haley Michelle Austin, an elementary education major from Thomasville, N.C.

Mackenzie Isabella Burns, a health sciences major from Mebane, N.C.

Benjamin Ridge Burton, a psychology and human development and Family Sciences major from Franklinville, N.C.

Brittany Logan Daley, a health sciences major from Chapel Hill, N.C.

Caleb Jeremiah Harper, a music major from High Point, N.C.

Kayce Jo Harris, an exercise and sport studies major from Shelby, N.C.

Ethan Michael Hemati, an exercise and sport studies major from Greensboro, N.C.

Paige Lindsey Hepler, a music education major from Thomasville, N.C.

Owen Edward Hines, a theatre major from Selma, N.C.

Jordan DeShawn McCray, a Business Administration and Economics major from Statesville, N.C.

Nicholas Carl Novakovich, a psychology major from Kernersville, N.C.

Christopher David Peters, a criminal justice major from Forest, Va.

Logan Alanna Schnabl, a biology major from Youngstown, Ohio

Luke Anthony Waggoner, a Business Administration and Economics major from Salisbury, N.C.

Student marshals are the students with the highest-ranking grade-point averages in the junior class. They help conduct ceremonies at the college, including the Baccalaureate/Cap and Gown ceremony and Commencement.

Greensboro College provides a liberal arts education grounded in the traditions of the United Methodist Church and fosters the intellectual, social, and, spiritual development of all students while supporting their individual needs.

Founded in 1838 and located in downtown Greensboro, the college enrolls about 1,000 students from 29 states and territories, the District of Columbia, and seven foreign countries in its undergraduate liberal-arts program and six master's degree programs. In addition to rigorous academics and a well-supported Honors program, the school features a 17-sport NCAA Division III athletic program and dozens of service and recreational opportunities.
