Greensboro College's Amery Skinner Named to United Soccer Coaches All-Region Third Team
Greensboro, NC (12/03/2024) — The United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced their women's soccer All-Region teams on Tuesday, and Greensboro's Amery Skinner was named Third Team All-Region for region six.
Skinner, the USA South Conference Player of the Year, scored 15 goals in her final season with the Pride along with 4 assists. Skinner was also named First Team All-Conference along with winning conference player of the year.
In addition, Skinner was named to the 2024 USA South All-Tournament Team. Last year, Skinner was named Second Team All-Region by United Soccer Coaches. In two seasons with Greensboro, Skinner scored 28 goals, had 5 assists, 61 points, and 5 game-winning goals. Her 28 goals ranks tied for 8th all-time in Pride women's soccer history and her 0.68 goals per game ranks tied for 4th.
Greensboro finished the 2024 season 11-9-1, reaching the USA South Tournament semifinals for the third year in a row.
