Greensboro College's Meah Brooks Named Conference Player of the Week
Greensboro, NC (11/18/2024) — The USA South Athletic Conference announced on Monday that Meah Brooks was named USA South Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week.
In two games last week, Brooks averaged 15.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.0 steals in two wins over Regent and Mid-Atlantic Christian, respectively.
Against Mid-Atlantic Christian, Brooks scored 27 points and had 14 rebounds to go along with 5 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks as she put up one of the best single game performances by a freshman in Pride history.
Through three games this season, Brooks has 31 points, 19 rebounds, and 4 steals.
