Greensboro College to Host Renown Minister, Rev. Dr. Cynthia Hale

Greensboro, NC (01/05/2024) — Greensboro College is pleased to share that Rev. Dr. Cynthia Hale, founding and Senior Pastor of the Ray of Hope Christian Church in Decatur, Georgia, will speak on the topic, "In 2024, What Would Dr. King Do?," at Finch Chapel on January 25, 2024, at 11:30 a.m.

Rev. Dr. Hale is a renowned minister who established ELAH Pastoral Ministries, Inc., a mentorship program that assists in the development of pastors and para-church leaders and is the author of, I'm A Piece of Work: Sisters Shaped by God.

Rev. Dr. Hale presently serves as the Chairperson of the IC3 Conference Board, the President for the Hampton University Ministers' Conference, a member of the Board of Trustees at Hollins University, an emeritus member of the Board of Visitors of the Divinity School at Duke University, a member of the UNCF NFEI Advisory Council and a member of the Welcome U.S. Council. She is an active lifetime member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

The event is free to the public and is organized in collaboration with the college's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, President's Commission on Inclusive Excellence, Office of Student Success and Retention, and Religious Life.
