Josh Wilson Wins Second Straight ODAC Wrestler of the Year Award
4/2/2024 (04/03/2024) — Greensboro, NC - The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced on Tuesday that Josh Wilson has been named the ODAC Wrestler of the Year for 2023-2024. Wilson recently won the first men's wrestling National Championship in Greensboro College history.
Wilson went 30-0 against Division III opponents this year in the 141 pound weight class. He also won the ODAC Conference Tournament and was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the conference tournament.
Wilson defeated multiple top 15 ranked wrestlers during the NCAA Championships en route to his National Title. Earlier this year, Wilson reached the 100 career win mark. Wilson is also a scholar-athlete at Greensboro College.
This is the second straight year Wilson has won ODAC Wrestler of the Year, as he has cemented himself as the most accomplished men's wrestler in school history.
