Kidd and Cannon Earn USA South Football Weekly Honors
Greensboro, NC (09/30/2024) — Greensboro, NC - The USA South Athletic Conference announced on Monday that Wes Kidd and De'yon Cannon were named USA South Football Offensive Player (Kidd) and Rookie of the Week (Cannon), respectively.
Against Southern Virginia, Kidd had career highs in receptions with 7 and a career high in receiving yards with 116, along with a touchdown.
Cannon, a freshman quarterback from Grayson, GA, threw for a career high 363 yards and 4 touchdowns against SVU.
The Pride will have a bye week next week before heading to Brevard for their next contest on October 12th.
