MUSEP Summer Concert Series Returns to Greensboro College on June 9

by Matthew Johnson

Greensboro, NC (05/16/2024) — Greensboro College is delighted to once again work with Creative Greensboro, the Department of Arts and Culture out of the city of Greensboro, to host the first performance of their summer series, Music for a Sunday Evening in the Park (MUSEP), on its front campus on June 9 from 6 - 8 p.m.

Greensboro College invites the community to join the college on front campus to hear the Greensboro Big Band perform.

Dancers and non-dancers are welcome, and leashed pets are also welcome. The food trucks, StayFresh Italian Ice and Shmack'n Plates Bistro, will be on campus for attendees to choose a meal and snacks from.

The performance is free, though donations are appreciated to MUSEP to help sustain the series. Greensboro College has hosted several MUSEP concerts in the past, including most recently, in 2023.

For more information about MUSEP and the June 9 concert at Greensboro College, including its rain plan, visit the Creative Greensboro website.

Greensboro College provides a liberal arts education grounded in the traditions of the United Methodist Church and fosters the intellectual, social, and, spiritual development of all students while supporting their individual needs.

Founded in 1838 and located in downtown Greensboro, the college enrolls about 1,000 students from 29 states and territories, the District of Columbia, and a dozen foreign countries in its undergraduate liberal-arts program and six master's degree programs.

In addition to rigorous academics and a well-supported Honors program, the school features a 17-sport NCAA Division III athletic program and dozens of service and recreational opportunities.
