Win Streak Hits 20 Games For Greensboro College Volleyball

Greensboro, NC (11/06/2025) — Greensboro College Volleyball (25-2, 17-0) defeated Southern Virginia (19-8, 13-4) 3-0 on Wednesday night to extend their win streak to 20 games.

The Pride got off to a strong start, winning the first set 25-15. Greensboro only had 7 kills in the set but did have 4 blocks. The Knights also had 13 attack errors in the set.

Greensboro continued their strong play in the second set, winning 25-20. They doubled their kill output to 14 in the second set with a .333 hitting percentage. They would also earn a 25-16 win in the third set to close out the match.

For Greensboro, Karla del Castillo led the team in blocks with 4. Morgan Mayfield had 16 digs while Payton Shiflet had 14. Skylar Rokov had a strong 7 kill game while Taylor Cotie had 6 kills and 2 blocks.

Greensboro will finish the regular season on Friday night when they travel to play NC Wesleyan at 7:00 pm.
