We believe in the power of small numbers.

Like 11. That’s the average number of students in a Greensboro College class.

Like 1,200. That’s our entire student body.

And especially like one: the one student whom we have the opportunity to genuinely know, encourage and prepare. In the classroom. In student life. Into a career and long throughout life.

This rich patchwork of individuality, community and experience is unmistakably and uniquely Greensboro. We are a coeducational, independent, liberal-arts college founded in 1838 on the Methodist principles of free inquiry and balancing faith and reason. We offer more than 30 undergraduate programs, NCAA Division III athletics, excellent student organizations, leadership opportunities, service learning experiences and many study-abroad options. Our close-knit, welcoming campus is just steps from vibrant downtown Greensboro, with its internships, theatre, art, sports, dining, shopping, nightlife and more. Learn more:
